Music Performance Trust Fund

 

The Music Performance Trust Fund (MPTF) is the world's largest sponsor of live admission-free, professional musical programs. MPTF operates as a non-profit, tax-exempt public service organization. From its New York office it distributes funding across the US and Canada to support free admission musical events.

 

With CD sales dropping in the last decade, revenues for the fund have decreased. But MPF continues to provide co-funding for free admission public concerts and educational events in the United States and Canada.

 

MPTF provides funding through local organizations that act as sponsors of musical events. It is up to the sponsor to organize the event and apply for these funds.
